We spent a day traveling around Inle Lake in our little boat, navigating the narrow water ways between the floating tomato fields, and the many water birds sharing the lake with families living in wooden houses built on stilts over the water. In among all of this lake life we found glorious shrines, both new and old, where we would retreat for shade and some rest from the lakje. The shrines here were as elaborate as anywhere else, full of mirrors and colour and detail.
Printed on our easy to wear soft silk/cotton mix, the colours on this scarf are intense and dramatic, and look amazing day and night.
