Scarf personality: What does your say? Part 2

Welcome back to our analysis on the personality behind the scarf and what your scarf choice says about you. Whether you want a more positive outlook on life or just convey yourself as a more confident person, we’re here to guide you to clarification on what must be done regarding clothing and design choice.

Pink:

A lady dressed in pink is the epitome of femininity and beauty, and her dainty nature is reflected in her style. Her charming attitude can put a smile on anyone’s face and leaves everyone she encounters with a warm feeling of happiness. The pink lady is the queen of loyalty and innocence, making her the go-to gal for long, heartfelt talks. A pink scarf shows all of these traits, and lets you subtly stand out from the general crowd.

Lime:

Like a scoop of sorbet, a lime cladded lady is both smooth and oh-so-sweet. She’s strong-willed, enthusiastic, and goal-oriented, making her the perfect person to host a party or be the team leader. She gives off calming vibes that boast good health, tranquillity, and renewal that’s almost addictive to be around. She’s a breath of fresh air to everyone she meets and inspires others to shoot for the stars and reach their dreams.

This year the silk scarf has widely dominated the scarf industry, with a large increase in demand being shown worldwide. This is because people are following in the footsteps of iconic fashion icons who have also largely accepted that high quality silk scarves are the must have accessory at the moment. Do you want to fall behind in the fashion market, or stay current and match the celebrities?

Scarf personality: What does your say? Part 1

Have you ever wondered why that beautifully coloured scarf made you feel a little more inspired, a little cheerier, or a little more inspired? Besides the fact that the scarf itself adds that extra little boost of confidence, we’ve always wondered if the colour choice itself affects our mood and stance on the world. Browse the scarf dye chart below to decode your colour personality and traits, and see what your scarf says about you!

Yellow:

When a girl dressed in yellow walks into a room, people can’t help but smile. Her bright, positively sunny demeanour is contagious, and her energy and warmth radiate through the room. The colour yellow shows imagination, optimism, and creativity. The yellow girl is powerful and determined and she loves to take on new challenges, all while keeping that cheery disposition and fun nature everyone loves about her. If you want to have a positive outlook on life, try wearing more yellow today!

Turquoise:

A turquoise enthusiast has a cool and calm exterior, but on the inside she’s creative and full of dreams with her eyes set on the future. Whatever her dreams may be, she knows exactly what has to happen to achieve them. Unlike the general motive based person, she takes everyone else’s feelings into consideration and maintains a strong sense of fellowship. A turquoise girl is a great leader, she’s never labelled dull and she never rules with an iron fist. Instead, she lets her cool influence wash over everyone to help them become the best person they can possibly be.

We hope you have enjoyed this blog and have learnt a little bit more about yourself and which scarf would suit you the best. Stay tuned for Part 2 where we will shed a little more light on the decisions behind choosing a scarf. Check out our list of products here on our Products page!

How to Tie a Twisted Headband.

1. Fold.

Fold your scarf into a triangle. Then continue folding the scarf over until you've created a long, thin band. If you're using a rectangular scarf, you'll also want to make a thin band, but by folding the scarf lengthwise until you have a long strip.

2. Wrap.

Wrap the folded scarf around the back of your head, holding the ends out in front. Make sure you have it centered by checking that the ends come out to be the same length.

3. Twist.

Bring the ends together so they cross at the top of your head. Give it a twist so the 2 ends latch together and then wrap around toward the back of your head.

4. Tie.

Tie a single knot to secure and tuck the ends in. Voila! A perfectly tied headscarf and a fun, stylish look you can wear all summer long.

3 Ways to Wear a Scarf.

Knotted Necklace.

Wrap the scarf behind your neck. Take one end and wrap it around your hand. Pull it through to make a loose knot. Take the other scarf end and pull it through the side knot, going under the knot loop and then over.

Wide Brim Wrap.

Lay the scarf flat. Starting at the corner, begin rolling the scarf. Once the first half of the scarf is rolled, begin rolling the opposite corner towards the middle of the scarf. Once the two rolled halves meet in the middle, pick up the scarf and smooth out any wrinkles. Wrap the rolled scarf snugly around the crown of the hat, making sure there’s an equal amount of the scarf left on both sides for tying. Tie the scarf ends together twice to form a neat knot. If you want, you can use a few safety pins to hold the scarf in place. Just be sure to pin the underside of the scarf to the hat, so that no pins are visible.

Classic Loop.

Put the scarf around your neck and pull one end down slightly longer. Wrap that end around your neck and let both ends hang.

SO MUCH SIGNIFICANCE

Sometimes as I go about my everyday business it is possible to forget the significance of the place names I see around. Road signs to Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Nazareth and the Galilee are everywhere and to see them written on mere motorway road signs sometimes makes me jump.

HERE COMES THE RAIN
